In contrast to its chiselled sides it has one highly polished edge which allows the water to run smoothly down the feature. Having a contrast in water flow, it adds interest and a harmony of different running water sounds. It also has a heightened back – encouraging the water to flow down the frontal sides – perfect for a feature that is going to be placed in a corner or has more focus at one particular angle.
